Películas finalistas al Oscar 2023 en 10 categorías

La Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas anunció a las películas finalistas al Oscar 2023 para diez categorías. En estas listas se incluye largometraje documental (15), corto documental (10), largometraje internacional (15), maquillaje y peluquería (10), sonido (10), música original (15), canción original (15), cortometraje de animación (10), cortometraje de ficción (10) y efectos visuales (10).

Entre las grandes sorpresas de estas listas se encuentra la aparición de Bardo: Falsa crónica de unas cuantas verdades en la categoría de Mejor Película Extranjera, la inclusión de Pinocchio de Guillermo del Toro en Mejor sonido, Mejor canción original y Mejor banda sonora. Crimes of the Future de David Cronenberg es la inclusión más genial del día, siendo reconocida por su sangre y desmembramiento corporal en la categoría de Maquillaje y Peluquería.

El período de votación de la lista corta de los Oscars concluyó el 16 de diciembre y las películas restantes pasarán al período de votación final, que tendrá lugar del 12 al 17 de enero.
